Vine Vessel
Vine Vessel is a one-of-a-kind, hand-sculpted, ceramic vase. It features a tangle of vines that ‘squeeze” the vase and overtake it-reaching upward. I'm interested in pushing the boundaries of what can be a bowl or vessel. The result is a functional sculpture.
Vine Vessel is handmade using high quality stoneware clay and ceramic glazes and stains. The texture of the vines is emphasized by a brown stain wash. The body of the vessel is glossy white.
